    Most kits are made from injected plastic, cast resin, white metal or a combination of materials. Some kits are partially assembled, others need complete assembly.

    Small Scale Hobbies has "Combat Ready" models which are fully assembled, hand painted, detailed and weathered models, (nearly museum quality) ready made for your battle or diorama. These kits are designed for the war-gamer, collector or model railroader in the popular 1/87, HO scale.
