The Douglas C-47 Skytrain or Dakota (RAF designation) is a military transport aircraft developed from the civilian Douglas DC-3 airliner. It was used extensively by the Allies during WWII and remained in front-line service with various military operators for many years.

Approximately 100 different countries' armed forces have operated the C-47 with over 60 different variants of the aircraft produced.

This item is unassembled and unpainted. Instructions and decals included. Full color art-work box. The factory photos may show it as a fully assembled and painted model.  Paint and glue, not included.
