M725 Ambulance, Kaiser Jeep Vehicle.
Trident, 87165. Resin 1/87 Unassembled Kit.
Part of the Kaiser Jeep M715 family of trucks, (sometimes called the "Five quarter (ton)", for its 1+1/4ton payload rating, is an American light military truck), the M725 was the all-wheel-drive alternative to the Dodge G-741 in service in 1965.
The ambulance variant had the same cab and front-end components as the M715. The rear, however, featured an ambulance body fitted with four litter racks, a surgical light, air ventilators, double rear doors, and a gas heater.
The first M715 family of trucks came off the assembly line in early 1967 and production ended in 1969. More than 30500 of them were built.
(Aside from the basic M715 cargo/troop carrier, the M715 series included the M724 bare cab and chassis, usually combined with a contact maintenance utility tool body, M725 ambulance, and M726 telephone maintenance utility body variants. All 4 variants are available in 1/87 scale unassembled kits).
