German WWII, PAK 36 8.8cm Anti Aircraft Gun.

Germania 0511, 3D Printed Resin 1/87 Scale Kit. One Gun per Kit.

The 8.8 cm Flak 18/36/37, also called eight-eight or eight-eight, was a German anti-aircraft gun built and used mainly in World War II, which was also often used against ground targets. As a semi-automatic, the breech opened automatically after the shot was fired as the barrel advanced, ejected the empty cartridge case and cocked the mainspring. The gun was ready to load, allowing a practiced crew to fire around 15 to 20 rounds per minute.
A protective shield was later installed for ground combat, but this only offered limited protection against the effects of weapons and fragments.
