Slat Armor for Stryker APC.

While this set is made for Stryker vehicles, it may be possible to convert it for use on other model vehicles like M113's, Hummers, Buffalo's, or any other small vehicle that used a version of stand-off armor.

Slat armor is also known as bar armor, cage armor, and standoff armor. The slat armor cage around the Stryker armored combat vehicle protects against rocket propelled grenades and other terrorist attacks without impeding mobility or speed.

   The factory photos may show it as a fully assembled and painted model.

    Assembly required. This item is an unassembled and unpainted Photo Etched Brass. 1/87 (HO) Scale. Instructions included. Paint, glue, and decals are not included but can be purchased separately.

These models are comparable to the 1/87 scale Roco / Herpa Minitanks. They are the same size/scale.
