Entered service in 1942 with production continuing into 1945. This small and fast scout car was designed for reconnaissance, and liaison between armored units. It's light armor only protected it against small light arms fire.

British vehicles serving in Northern and Western Europe in 1944-45 had an Allied white star painted on their sides for simplified recognition purposes.
